In Bihar’s Jamui district, a case of injuring a shopkeeper with the butt of a gun has come to light for not giving cigarettes. This incident took place late on Thursday night in Adha village of Chandradeep police station area. Where two domineering youths of the village beat and injured the shopkeeper with the butt of the gun. After this, the family took him to Sadar Hospital Jamui for treatment. The injured person has been identified as Mohammad Rustum Shah, a resident of Adha under Chandradeep police station area.
Mohammad Rustam Shah, who was injured in the incident, told that he runs a ration shop in his own house in his village. He was sleeping in his house on Thursday night. Then around 3 o’clock in the night Mohammad Imran and Mohammad Hadi of the village came and started asking for cigarettes from the shop. When it was said that it is now time for the Sehri of Ramadan. On this, both became enraged and attacked with the butt of the gun.
The victim said that he was seriously injured in the attack. However, during this time Mohammad Rustum Shah made a lot of effort to snatch the gun from both the youths. But they both started fighting. By the time the people of the house came out, both of them fled from there. After this, the family members admitted the injured Mohammad Rustum Shah to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where the doctor is being treated.
The relatives of the injured have informed the local police station about the incident. After this, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
